Great Oak Lodge...Opened over 50 years ago in August of 1955 as a private yacht club, marina and hunting lodge on Maryland's Eastern Shore, Great Oak was quite popular in those days and became a favorite getaway for many. The original estate was comprised of 1,100 acres with ample facilities for a restful vacation, small business meeting, or a pleasure outing. As time went on, Great Oak Landing grew to a magnificent 350 slip marina, 28 room lodge and full service restaurant with banquet and meeting facilities.
